Knowledge Base

I have gained an immense amount of knowledge throughout the instructional technology graduate program and my experience as an instructional designer. The projects in my knowledge base refer to research that I conducted to deepen my knowledge of instructional design. I have chosen to focus on research describing how to create effective eLearning courses.

eLearning, often defined as instruction delivered via computer or over an Internet, has gained popularity among organizations wishing to train a widespread (if not global) population while minimizing training costs. As eLearning solutions become more and more common, it is important to know how to effectively design instruction for this medium and meet the needs of a diverse population of learners.

Integrating the Theory of Multiple Intelligences into eLearning describes the theory of multiple intelligences and how to design instruction utilizing the theory.

Designing Effective eLearning Instruction using ADDIE summarizes best practices of eLearning and illustrates the application of the ADDIE model of instructional design to this medium.
